because Jack has evolved into this face thing, so that's the setting he'd come back to, and part of me says yes, because he ought to come back to the factory settings that Rose left him at. But right now I'm leaning towards 'no' because of that whole "aging" thing that Jack mentions right at the end of DW Series 3.
Agreed. Also, if Jack returned to "factory settings" as done by Rose, he'd be coming back with shorter hair every time we've seen him die. Which doesn't happen. So I think it's that he comes back to whatever state he died in - minus the wounds and all. Although that doesn't explain why he doesn't have a beard when they dig him up in 1901 (or whenever that was, I won't swear to the year). Maybe he evolves past the need to shave? *grin*
