This was marvellous, very bleak in parts, which seems appropriate. I found myself getting very annoyed with all of them at times, and feeling some despair, especially for Ianto. Not that I get over involved or anything.

I can't bear stories which portray the Doctor in sexual situations, it's just a thing I have from my childhood love of the show, and the way I see the character, but you write so well that I didn't let those bits, and the Rose bits, put me off. (Yes I know, issues) I may not manage your next series though, although I can cope with 9/Rose, Eccles did bring a sexuality to the role that no one else ever has.
