hello vaio!
this is the first entry being typed on my new vaio notebook.
damn, it's pretty. and it plays DVD's and everything!
it arrived on thursday, and this is the first day that i've had time to set it up. at first i was having a seriously hard time putting it together, but it seems to be fairly on track now. i even connected it to the internet, with only three false starts. go me. hey, i never claimed to be mechanically minded. it's always sort of astonished me how i can handle a lighting board with total ease, and yet still have problems hooking up my VCR. especially since my father had me helping him out around the house fixing things, and tinkering with machines almost as long as i can remember. perhaps it's just rebellion.
my parents should be arriving here any minute, and i am quite looking forward to seeing them. with any luck they won't irritate me. and i'll return the favor, and they will leave before their presence goes stale.
at any rate, i am really fairly thrilled with this new machine (wow, the resolution is impressive!) and it was really nice of them to buy it for me.
did i mention i love it?
