*hugs* I know! It's built in and everything. Damn this show anyway; I get so attached to things, and the whole narrative's just always about letting go.
My bf is going to crow at me when I get home; his Doctor-love was for Nine, and he was devastated when we finished series 1. The whole time watching it though ('cause I knew it wouldn't last), I sort of withheld - and then Tennant came along, and I never looked back. And now it's over, and I guess I'd sort of convinced myself that he wouldn't let the TARDIS key be pried from his cold, dead hands.
The next Doctor's going to have some immense shoes to fill.
On the other hand: Hamlet on Broadway? Perhaps some small consolation. Though not much!
