*grins* Well, we've written [are writing? though we've been very distracted by the new shiny of Torchwood] longfics before -- our other big project is in hp: descensus_hp (a marauder era, slytherin "epic-of-manners") -- but not ones that had what you might call endings. Prior to this, our answer to separation anxiety was to just continue the plot. The story *ahem* extended to span three generations of characters, and now will probably not be finished in either of our lifetimes, although I suppose hope springs eternal, etc. etc.
This fic, on the other hand, has a planned beginning, middle and end. I am, quite frankly, amazed. It's a bad sign when you find yourself searching for your own pod.
But then of course you know, just because you finish this one doesn't mean you can't write others. *grins*
Oh yeah. Definitely not planning on stopping here ;-)
...and in Torchwood anyone who doesn't portray Ianto as a jealous, insecure weeper is to be welcomed with open arms. :D
Or write the ongoing adventures of Captain & Mr. Harkness-Jones? *laughs* Poor Ianto. What sins are committed in your name.
