It will be really fun to write actual Doctor Who fic. I am excited. The funny thing is, I just reread my "plot outline" and if I didn't know me, I'd think it actually had one!
Well, I wanted to write a Doctor story but I didn't have any ideas so I dug up an idea I had previously, which is an AU in which Dr. Tanizaki never comes to help Lisa. Ianto ends up telling Tosh where she is during Countrycide when he thinks he's gonna die, and thus begins the world series of Not Telling Jack Stuff He Should Know. :D
After Journey's End, Ten.2 and Rose have been ditched left on Pete's World, and all seems well. Sort of. Except for the part where their relationship is extremely tense not quite the peaches and cream they might have thought, Ten.2 is having a hard time adjusting to being time&spacebound and also when Rose returns to work at Alt!Torchwood... she discovers that something strange has been going on since she's been gone. Not to mention there's a certain bloke who greatly resembles someone they knew as Captain Jack Harkness who seems to be hanging about Torchwood headquarters... and what else could he be doing but running a con? While Ten.2 and Rose are suspicious, they know that what he's up to can't be that bad. After all, they love Jack... and his doppelganger must be a good guy deep down, right? Right? Fic will contain: Ten.2, Rose, Alt!mortal!spacepirate!Jack, his partner Alt!John Hart, various alt!versions of TW Team & DW cast/companions (classic & new), dirigibles, grift, two man cons, the Time Agency, Magnus Greel, and the kitchen sink.
