and i almost forgot to mention:

we got Ani tickets!!!!! She's playing the State theater on April 19th.
(that's approximately one block from D's house.)
i'm so excited!!!!! i haven't seen her live in forever...and she's so damn cute. and amazing. and politically cool.
and the soundtrack to my life. and did i mention wonderful?

one of the Lost Boys informed us of the event, and we promptly ran out to secure seats. well, D. did most of the running, as i was still immobile.

hey now, i've ALWAYS liked Ani. Ever since the Rebecca turned me on to her when i was 18 or so. I just don't own any of her stuff (or any other non-techno music, for that matter)... so no killing the hofnarr.
