fictionalso i'm writing my paper on Middlemarch currently.
that is, if you interpret the word "writing" to mean, messing around on the 'puter, surfing the net, and dreading the actual process of writing. this isn't strange for me, i'll admit. but my brain still feels like mushy jello around the edges, and i just can't seem to concentrate. sigh. it's the reason i didn't get to this earlier, and while i wish i could have finished this paper sooner, so that it would be done already, i still feel like procrastinating, even now. it's due tomorrow though, so we can't have any of that.
look at that. i've just discovered a strange bright white blister on the sole of my foot. interesting. i thought it was some foreign object stuck there at first. maybe i've finally found the portal through which my alien leaders communicate to me in my sleep.
anyways, the weekend was good. despite the rampant procrastinating. friday night, went to a party. that was cool. i (ssh!) danced some, and listened to the music, which was tedious at times, but still enjoyable, and ran into one of the kids whose going to Rome with me. saturday, we did nothing but lie around, eat and watch tv. i had an enormous steak. mmm....dead cow slabs. yum. and today, we went to the science center so i could get the info. for one of my physics extra credits. so, a good weekend.
now, if i could only get to work.
