have just come off of a lovely weekend, a nice end to the semester.
slope day was chilly, and slightly damp, and we did not drink that much. there was good music however, and i used my slick new york subway skills to cut in front of the funnel cake line and we proceeded to bury ourselves in powdered sugar.

a few hours later, sykii arrived, and then fun and frolics ensued.
lots of drinking, gorge walking, old fashioned gabbing, and giggling.
i wish, however, that i could manage to stay awake past 11 in the evening. i think it might add to my social status. but we had a great deal of fun. which was good, because i was a wee bit nervous. i got a One Ring (mass produced and sold at barnes and noble which is kind of ironic) and a legolas bookmard. yay! world domination, here we come!!! i also inherited a pair of fantabnabulous bright purple pants. they are enormous. and beauteous. i nub them.

i think i've got a good, if tight, schedule for my work the rest of the week. and tonight i think we might hike out the three miles to the movie theater and see spider man. eep.

i'm feeling uninspired to write today, not out of any unhappiness (for as a matter of fact, i am quite happy) but just out of a sense of flatness. there are no lyrics in my head today. maybe later.

i'll be in Rome from May 23 - June 22, London from June 22 - June 24, NYC from June 24 to July 1, then back to Ithaca, or the Wasteland as we so fondly like to refer to it.
we may also spend July 4th weekend in The City so that optimal firework viewing can take place.
then in August, we hope to take a trip out to Seattle and San Diego for about a week, if money and such cooperate.
what are your summer plans? we must try and intersect!

well, if money works out for us we're hoping to go to nroway end of july/begining of august, but we DO intend to see you kids in the city this summer as well
with plenty of advanced warning *winks at edie*
maybe end of june?
we're jonesing for a trip anyway.... :)
