the sky was clear and dark blue, and in the wisp of cloud that surround the full moon,
an inverted rainbow hung in the sky, dark and sparkling.
it was one of the more beautiful things i've ever seen.
d. and i stood on our doorstep, looking up at it, holding hands in complete silence.
as the clouds drifted away, it disappeared.
