fictionali wonder why writing is so hard these days.
it makes me think about whether i've been making the right choices...
looking for a career in which i will write academic paper upon academic paper.
it's just so hard to settle down and DO it.
d. is back home, and that is a nice feeling.
we had a delightful day together, as the weather broke 40 degrees today,
went to the used bookstore and loitered, and then ran into karl and andrew,
and they abducted us for lunch.
weirdly enough they wanted to go to sports bar (odd, never knew pretty gay boys were THAT kinky)
and we sat around eating food, deep fried, and i had a "New Orleans Iced Tea", that is a long island but with raspberry liqueur instead of coke.
afterwards we ran into kimmie, derrick and lou in the gorge park, and experienced nature (and a blunt)
while snow melted and bubbled around us.
twas a nice day.
my upstairs neighbors have added strange grinding smashing crunching noises to the usual square dance that they usually start up around midnight. how nice.
wow. and d. and i just had a psychic moment about a vampire soap opera...
which means, i get to spend sunday watching Kindred: The Embraced and snuggling.
that is, IF i EVER get this paper done....
