Somewhat surreal moment: realising that Jacques Derrida and Christopher Reeve both died in the last 48 hours. Although I must admit that my response to the first was much like E.'s: at least now the amount of his material that I will be forced to read is finite! Plus, am a bit afraid that everyone at school will be in dressed in black deconstructionist mourning this week. But this is different then other days, how?
While i had no especial connection to either french theory, or superman; still, it seems like another keystone crumbles every time I turn around.
