bits and bobbles

Had a spur of the moment meeting with the Kat this morning, which was lovely. It's nice to be back in the city where such things are possible.
Now at school and I am all the tired ever.

Have gotten one paper back. The prof. had a couple of problems with it, and they really just made no sense to me. Within three sentences he said a) my conclusion waffled b) my conclusion made perfect sense and c) my conclusion didn't quite explain the play's potency. I'm just not quite sure how all these things can be true. And further, (though admittedly I wrote this paper much later at night than I should have) I don't even think that was what the paper was about. I'm not sure I even was addressing the play's potency at all. However, I got a very good grade, and at the moment I'm attempting to figure out how to talk to him about it, without looking like a grade grubber. I just want to know, damn it.

And yes, I must admit to a certain sorrow that I didn't get the response of: "That was brilliant! You must publish it immediately!" But I suppose I wasn't really expecting that. Or if I was, I shouldn't have been.

Perhaps you should have asked the waterfall to proofread?

It certainly might have made it more...how shall we say...original?

You must blog the story of the waterfall so I can link all my friends to it and make them marvel.
