Too Much Information
Jan. 12th, 2007 12:55 pmIn the pattern of things around here of late, I have missed my journalling anniversary. Also, I spent yesterday Substitute Teaching at my old high school*, for which I had to leave the house at the ungodly hour of 6:45am. Unconnectedly (I think) I now, not to put too fine a point on it, have an affliction that makes it relatively hard to sit down, or lie down, or anything that doesn't involve standing up. Which is difficult, because foot? Still broken.
This is my first post of 2007. Please tell me it is not a sign of things to come.
*This gig is definitely the strangest I've ever had. School is very, very different, but oddly still the same. I still walk those hallways like a ghost, which was not necessarily the way things ended, but definitely the way they began - and somehow it's all I can remember. They have books that humans would actually like to read in the library now. Class starts at 8:08 in the mornings, and gets more irregular from there. The kids are still exactly the same. They still have masks we made up in the hallways. The lockers are a different color. It's still brick.

*tacklehug* Long time no talk/see. Any chance of a visit New York-ward this winter? And I still have to meet your boy!
