Uh... my bank.

Yeah. Not much else to say there.

Also my co-writer is made of win. Go. Fanperson. =)

New episode of Supernatural = Awesome!sauce.

Dear Mr. Kripke,

Okay, so I've embraced the judeo-christianity of this narrative. I was uncertain at first. It just makes the world so small, doesn't it? But when they said "apocalypse" and "prophecy" I was taken aback. What is this, Buffy? I thought. I don't ever want to try to figure out the plural of Apocalypse on Supernatural, thank you very much. But then I realized it wasn't a prophecy, it was the prophecy. Revelation! Bring it!! How much do I love the new beating wings on the logo? How much do I love this show for finally giving me a ship I can sail away on? Dean/Castiel for the win. Thank you!

In conclusion, angels rock; I do not like new Ruby, pls to get new skin suit! And I am now hoping for post apocalyptic western season five, with Sam & Dean in the Metallicar, and skulls hanging from the rearview mirror, and zombies. Yes. If Sam and Dean go toe to toe in the end, and die in each other's arms, that wouldn't be bad either. I know, I know, lack of appropriate deserts in Vancouver. But a girl can dream, no?

Love & Kisses,
Kali

My bank too! Wheeeeeeeeeee! Husband assures me my debit card will still work tomorrow. So, no apocalypse yet.

I don't watch Supernatural, so I'm going to continue with my blithe assumption that Castiel is the same angel as Cassiel in Wings of Desire, because it makes me happy.

When you say Cassiel, all I can think of is *ahem* Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel series.

You are FDIC insured! So you are okay. For now, I mean, unless things go really haywire. You'll be a customer of a different bank soon and it will all be annoying and confusing. If you're feeling paranoid, move half your funds to one of the banks that's stable (Bank of America, Citibank (their customer service sucks, but they are stable right now, Bank of New York or a credit union).

I found the prez. debate v. annoying. you?

[identity profile] rm.livejournal.com 2008-09-28 04:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah.

Obama did good but THEN HE FORGOT THAT SERVICEMAN'S NAME. I don't think it makes Obama evil of course, but seriously, fi your'e going to bring that shit up (and the duelling military mom sob story thing was crass enough) you've got to do it right!

Also seriously? We didn't bring up Palin? Really?

Also, McCain was doing himself no favors talking about how old he was. It didn't make him look experienced, it mae him look old. Also, "what you don't understand" is pretty much code for "now I am talking to a person of color/woman/child and I am an asshole"

I just wanted to throw things.

[identity profile] stakebait.livejournal.com 2008-09-26 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, mine too. They say it won't affect customers, which is good, but ya know, there's a reason I didn't go with Chase in the first place.

Oh, well. I can always switch to Bank of America. They look solvent, right?

Thanks goodness for the FDIC.

I remember when FDIC was just a string of letters that I didn't understand. *sigh*

Someone on my f-list who likes Supernatural!

So glad to read that someone else is as with the whole biblical direction as I am (I too made the Buffy comment last night). For the last two seasons I've been saying that if they weren't going to go back to strictly folklore monsters, and instead were proceeding with the whole demon mythology as basis for the show, than they needed to go (for lack of a better term) balls to the wall with it. Tip-toeing and hinting around the religious aspects ie. god is real, angels exist, can be major annoying. I knew Supernatural had the guts to go for it without apologizing, and I'm so happy they're doing it.

I've also been waiting for Sam vs. Dean forever.

And holy crap. *is writing Dean/Castiel right now*

[identity profile] kalichan.livejournal.com 2008-09-27 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yay! A Supernatural buddy! I too have a lack of them on my flist. =D They don't know what they're missing. I love me some Winchester boys.

Yeah, the angels and demons thing is rocking pretty hard. It's very Gaiman meets Paradise Lost meets the Prophecy. I'm excited. And like you, the waffling was getting on my nerves.

Who's your money on in Sam vs. Dean?

And holy crap. *is writing Dean/Castiel right now*

Can I just say, *squeeeeeeeeee!!!*

I've never written anything more likely to be Jossed and I don't even care. :)

Who's your money on in Sam vs. Dean?

That's hard. A year ago I would have said Dean because he's more devious and clever. But Sam is pretty scary now, though his powers wouldn't work on Dean, would they? Yea, I have no clue.
