I was so pleased to see another story up this morning, that I completely spaced on saving quotes and such. And I want to find out what the heck the Doctor is up to with poor sweet Ianto, so I don't want to go back and hunt for them. Except the line about Jack hiring only straight men and lesbians was a hoot. (Although technically, Gwen is neither.)

Congrats for the runner-up status at CoT. You should have won, methinks, but then, I didn't read the competition in the Torchwood rounds, so no real idea. Only that this is still one of my favorite things ever read, and even if all those reviews burned me out for a bit, it was worth it if it meant I found this.
