fictional...that Gmail won't hunt for punctuation marks?
This is a travesty against nature. It means I cannot hunt for things like "Jack:" which would make finding these little snippets significantly easier. One. Ten/Martha.
Martha: What's the point of my having your number if you're not going to pick up?
Ten: I knew what you were ringing about.
Martha: The earth could have been imploding!
Ten: I knew it wasn't. Time Lord, remember?
Martha: So how pissed off at you is Jack right now?
Ten: Oh, he'll be all right. Incidentally, and having nothing whatsoever to do with your previous question, I'll be avoiding 20th and 21st century earth for a while. Thought you should have a heads up.
Martha: *laughs* That is so you.
Ten: Oi! Be nice to me. It was a very stressful experience. I had to be all... comforting.
Martha: And how was it? I know doing things for the first time can be quite alarming.
Ten: This must be some usage of the word 'nice' that I was previously unaware of.
Martha: You try having Jack Harkness yelling in your ear about finding you or else. See how nice _you_ feel.
Ten: Yeah, *scratches head* precisely what I'm trying to avoid, actually.
Two. Jack/Ianto + Ten.
Rach: Actually it's a cute tiny baby deer. But now I'm picturing deer like this that Don't Get Any Bigger, hopping about the world of Jack's childhood.
I am so fucked up.
Kali: I WANT ONE. Also: too bad we already wrote the animal torture. Cos that would have made a great visual aid.
Rach: Yeah. But I can see it being something like that. And if Ianto ever saw one being like "that's not like a rabbit, but a deer."
"But it hops," Jack would say.
Kali: Ianto: Sometimes I swim. That doesn't make me a fish.
Rach: Jack: I forgot the word, okay?!?!?
Kali: Ianto: Now, was that so hard?
Rach: Hahahahah, I am so cracking up.
And Jack is looking at the ground and scuffing his shoe and Ianto is wondering, "We're back to this, are we?"
Kali: Oh, boys! I can see Ten just shaking his head at them.
Rach: Also pointing at the little deer thing and going, "Those things are tasty, you know."
