postcards from the wars...
Feb. 22nd, 2002 02:49 pmi had class today in the military science building.
one might imagine that having attended elementary and high school in a converted armory might have hardened me to such things. such however is not the case.
it deeply creeps me out.
one has to climb an impossibly steep winding, seemingly endless staircase to get to the top, where the class room is situated. on the way we pass by students in camoflage, all with the same stern glazed expression on their faces. at the top of the tower, we sit there discussing charlotte bronte, as the radiator bangs loudly, in a poltergeistlike fashion.
i got my first paper back today, with a glaring B- on the top of it.
i am not in a good mood.
