This long later and I'm still numb and cold. This is the first one that's had me breathing so hard that the tears have nearly escaped. If I read it again, they might get out.
It's so odd that I really do seem to be handling this the same way I've handled 'real' bereavements in my life.
I can't explain that.
I've also added the pair of you back on my friends-list -- I never post anything on my actual journal (I only participate in comments-threads, and that only in the rare times that work and life permit) , but I'm feeling the need right now to surround myself with TW-people, even just via the false intimacy of the web. (SF Bay area, genderqueer, lurker, nonprofit worker)
