this, that, and the other.

well, i thought i didn't have internet access because of lack-of-bill-paying.
and i was going to do an emergency fix with my credit card on monday (wait, it's been monday for three whole hours, gods help me!)
the point being, it just suddenly turned on, all by itself.
hrmph.
anyways, i'm back. regular updates from now on i hope.
i'm well on the way to being moved in, i think, and everything is fairly neatly placed.
walls are bare of decoration, and i'm sure that will change somewhat with time. perhaps less so than in the past however.
i feel a slightly more minimalist streak coming on...maybe i'm growing up a little. i find that young apartments/dormrooms/bedrooms in parents house tend to be completely plastered with decorations. restraint seems to be a sign of age. and i do have a birthday coming up. or perhaps i'm just lazy.
d. comes home today, and i'm excited. i've missed him. i even shaved my legs. (which is quite a feat considering the crampedness of my shower stall.)

i come into my office today, back from what was meant to be a vacation, but was actually a stressed out time filled with moving, packing, unpacking, cleaning, annoying relatives and a few blessed moments with some of my dearest friends. the soul-bath in the City did help, but now i am back here, far too soon. in the Pit.
have i mentioned i hate my job? i walk in and there's a note in my mailbox, reprimanding me (in a polite way) for not getting more done on the paper that i'm writing for them.
let me say that again, not enough work done on the PAPER that i am writing, in a field i have NO qualifications in, for a job that was billed as filing and office assistant!
i hate it here.
i just wrote an e-mail applying for a job working as assistant to the artistic director at the Kitchen Theater. think good thoughts for me, everyone. 'cause if i don't get out of here soon, i may spontaneously combust.
