the universe is laughing

not with me, but at me.

is it bad that i have a final in approximately one hour and twenty minutes
(don't even let me get into the fact that they're giving an exam at 9am on Saturday, which would be colossally annoying even if the boy hadn't had his birthday yesterday)
and i am reduced to propping open my eyelids with sharp splinters of wood?
