all things in their season
May. 28th, 2003 04:45 pmsky emptying rain going on.
it's such a strange feeling to have the room go completely dark before five o' clock in the afternoon. seems somehow unsettling and mysterious. and yet, now that i think about it,
it's a common winter ocurrence.
strange how time affects the nature of things.
interesting realization: the "o apostrophe" in "five o' clock" stands for "of the". so every time we rush through that sentence during the course of our mundane lives, we are actually saying something straight out of a jane austen novel. a little bit of periodicity in an otherwise boringly modern life.
heh. just another one of those strange realizations of what should have been obvious, but somehow wasn't.
going out to dinner in a bit. can't say i feel exciting about the whole getting drenched aspect of things, and my head is throbbing in time with every thunderclap.
