fictionaloff to the Hangar this evening to see My Fair Lady done in the round. should prove amusing. karl will be escorting me thither, and should be riotously fun company as usual, although i don't know if hanging out with such painfully beautiful people is good for my psyche. at any rate, we haven't gotten any one-on-one time in quite a while, so i'm looking forward to it muchly. the musical itself always fills me with the strangest sensation, not suited to an independent woman such as myself, as it calls up all my secret desires for someone, somewhere to show me how to be, someone who won't ever let me rest on my laurels, but will mold me, whether i like it or not, into some model of perfection.
trying to figure out if i want to study for my exam tomorrow. i might stay up all night and do it that way, seeing as how last night was plagued by vividly frightening dreams that stayed with me long after i awakened this morning. fire, and people i knew, betrayal of every kind, strangely evil ballroom dances, chains, the list goes on. perhaps mythology will quiet my mind enough to send it into a dreamless sleep tomorrow. lotus-eaters, here i come.
