I know! It's like now, I'll just be waiting for the end. I can't imagine being swept away with it. It reminds me of last nights with long distance relationships, where you try to stay awake, and all the time you're just watching the clock tick away the time you have left. NO FUN.
I say it's just a show, because, even though I'm unrepentantly fannish, I still feel a twinge, a voice in my head saying, "you don't get this upset about famine, and plague and war that goes on every day."
But you're right. We're losing something we love, and who's to judge that?
