fictional: (the look)
i've been being really bad, but it felt really really good.

first of all, i turned into a narcoleptic when i was in the city.
i slept for hours, and then i'd wake up and promptly want to fall asleep again. apologies to anyone that i managed to not see or any phone calls that i didn't return (there were quite a few)...sleep kicked my ass from sunday night all the way to tuesday morning.

d. and i had a very lovely lady come visit us from tuesday night to friday morning, and that was great fun. we had all sorts of plans for things to do, but being the people that we are, we simply stayed in d's apartment all day long (i'm beginning to think it eats people, i for example am still here...) yeah, so we were total slackers. we sat around and watched tv, and talked for hours and snuggled lots. it was nice having a friend visit this frozen wasteland which is bereft of real people much of the time.

oh yeah, and also there was the haze that we were seeing everything through. because we succumbed to temptation and did some very fun things.
it was really nice actually...doing such things on the equinox made me feel particularly receptive. i like to crack open my brain and heart (even artificially) on holidays.

we went through quite a few letters of the alphabet...and my brain is feeling mushy, and tender around the edges. sort of like the kind of sore that you feel after excellent sex. d & i didn't stop after our guest left either. we figured it was best to not have leftovers lying around tempting us...so instead of wasting them...well...you get the picture. i have all this work to do now too.

i was real cracked for a while, and that was accompanied by the scariness that usually rides attendant on it. but we managed to get through it without too much trouble. talking everything out helped, and i feel pretty good about stuff.

and now, to get back to work.
mush, mush, mush...
