no shit.
when i met miss kali at 8 years old, and she walked into the room with her long black braids and her glowy skin (and of course the big neon sign hovering over her head that said "this is your new best friend") i was instantly in love.

Hi - I had left you a note at your diaryland journal, and you directed me to this one . . . I just got around to reading some of your entries here, although I'd meant to do so sooner -- I took a course overload this semester, and it's been slaughtering me -- I've barely kept sane, much less kept in touch with people I _know_.
But that's another matter, and the semester is almost a thing of the past. I found the above to be one of the most enjoyable surveys I've ever read -- (or is that "one of the _few_ surveys I've ever found enjoyable"?) the only thing of that sort I've read and enjoyed more was emailed to me by this girl I know . . . she has an extremely cute grin, and I could picture her smiling when she wrote some of the answers.
Which is neither here nor there.
You probably won't remember, but my diaryland journal name was 'cavale' -- I still have the journal, but I haven't posted since early April. If you decide to be interested, my semi-daily ramblings, rants, and forays into lyricism can now be found at: http://www.deadjournal.com/users/not_waving
Happy thursday.

hello there!
nice to see(?) you again. thanks for coming over.
i dropped by your site, and really enjoyed what i saw so far, and i've added your journal to "sites that i go to on the internet while i'm theoretically supposed to be doing work."
but since i've got a paper due tomorrow that i haven't yet begun,
i feel i should save reading all of it until a later date.
this semester is killing me too, and it's not doing it gently.
i just keep chanting, "just a couple of more weeks" to myself over and over again.

and i do, as a matter of fact remember your d-land name. i get all kinds of excited when people besides myself read my stuff. and it hasn't happened often enough for me to forget anyone's name. maybe someday it'll seem blase. but somehow i doubt it.
besides you write well, and like ani and faeries. there's nothing forgettable about that.

anyway, thanks again for stopping by.
hopefully when summer starts, spending time playing on the 'net won't seem like shooting ourselves in the foot.
