fictionalhappy mother's day, everyone.
i say this because
all of us have mothers, some by blood, some by heart.
it is, in my opinion, the holiest of all professions.
i try to not make it a thankless one, and i hope if the time comes for me and my friends to take that step, in whatever way, that we will do half as good a job as my own mother did, and does, every single damn day. and my mother's mother, and all the other people who have stood in that position for me over the years.
thank you, for giving me something to look up, a lap to sit on and be held, a place to run to for neverending comforts, someone to scold me when i need it, for loving me at times more than themselves.
