food and dress

just got fitted for my Christmas Carol costume.
they want me to have ringlets. hee.
i have a bonnet (maroon and pink flowers)
and a grey cape (which i want to steal)
and a red plaid skirt puffed out by a tartalan.
picture lower middle class victorian outfit.
not exactly faery princess material, but what can you do.

i have to leave for rehearsal at 2.

thanksgiving was ...food. i made lots of it. ham with honey and pineapple, mashed potatoes, green beans with bacon, and my piece de resistance, spinach and raspberry salad, (vinaigrette with raspberry jam, honey, mustard, raspberry vinegar and a good dollop of shiraz.) and then a mammoth cherry pie, and a pumpkin pie for dessert.
we ate muchly. it was good.
and now...leftovers!

Congrats so much on the play thing! I'm so jealous! Last time I was on stage I was 17 too and I'm really feeling the burn.

You're costume sounds AWESOME! When are the performances, I want to try to come up to see you be incredible, I'm so proud. I want to be able to sit in the audience all puffed-up because you're up there.

I keep trying in vain to reach you-free Long D after 9pm-call me and I'll call you right back.

Sorry hon, i didn't think you could make it. The show's this weekend. I didn't invite you 'cause I thought you'd be busy with school, finals and all. Also I have a pretty small part, it seemed like too big a trip for seven lines and some puppetering and caroling.
