I would certainly have put yours (as in both of you) first in the first one, and my complaint about the second one is, I don't care how good everyone thinks SoI is, it was written how long ago???

I think any awards thingy should be for 'current' work unless the awards are specify for 'best of all time' works.

To be honest, while it's always a pleasure to be nominated, and voted for, I am bemused by the whole awards thing, regardless. It brings to mind school elections in a weird sort of way. The categories often seem to meld together fics that are trying to do very different things. And it's pretty hard to arbitrate quality via majority vote.
