We never saw Myfanwy in the hub, she might have been outside.

At the end of 1x01 we saw her flying over the bay, so apparently they let her out to fly and fish now and then.

I love how no one cares that much about Janet & Barbara. Maybe they were released back into the wild sewers of Cardiff.
