you know, it's really going too far when telemarketers call you up and unsolicitedly say things like, "you speak really good english for your name being something like -------."

...i replied, "and you speak unsurprizingly poor english for a telemarketer." and then hung up.

normally i am never rude to telemarketers, having been one, if briefly. but this was just too much.

you know this makes me wonder if it was someone from our distant past. i'm sure the thought crossed your mind as well.
i'm sure it wasn't, but it's reminiscent, to some degree.
