brief and inconclusive

i've been gone a while.
life's been a little too hectic for me to be online. and it continues to be so.
various of my family are visiting from india, and for a variety of reasons, i'm not entirely pleased with the situation.
i'll try and write more later.
just wanted to stick my head out and give a shout.
