fictionaldreams were strange last night/early this morning.
i. i was trying to leave the house (my parent's apt. in the City) with my mother. i was going to meet a friend, but we thought it would be nice if we walked out together. she was waiting for me outside, by the elevator, and somehow i couldn't get to her. i had to keep running back inside the house for a book to read on the subway, or some food to eat, or some other silly errand. the house felt like a giant whirlpool sucking me in, beginning to spit me out, and then sucking me back in again. i raced about in a panic, yet unable to leave.
ii. then i dreamt i was pregnant.
that was a terrible dream.
